Waste management industry is one of the important industries that fulfil the need of the hour. It functions in full swing due to the increased population on earth and their modern life style. Among the many equipments and tools used in waste management, Rubbish Compactor smashes and compresses rubbish and makes it a manageable bundle, which is neat and compact to handle. This equipment is an automated device.
Key parts of Rubbish Compactor:
• The frame
• Sound insulation
• Electric wire
Superficial parts of a Rubbish Compactor:
• Very large screw or bolt: This is the most important component of a trash Compactor, which is the primary operator.
• Switch panels: Another important part is switch panels along with micro-switches.
• Motor:
• Ram Screw:
• Chain and sprockets:
Other parts of a Rubbish Compactor:
• Indicator lights
• Guide rollers
• Receptor basket
Optional Parts of a Rubbish Compactor:
• Drainage Hose
• Collection pan
• Interior lights
• Built-in air freshener dispensers
• Body panels
• Cover panels
• Hinges
• Plastic clips, wiring harnesses, mounting baskets, support bars
Basic working Process of a rubbish compactor:
After the rubbish is filled into the compactor, the micro switch is activated and when the door gets closed it signals the motor to start. The motor, which is attached with the ram screw with the help of chain and sprockets, turns the ram bolt and it passes through the ram, driving it down. This presses the rubbish and makes the bulk to go down by compressing it effectively. The motor is again reversed when the ram senses certain pressure which is pre-determined. The indicator will flash when the compactor is full.
